We recommend painting the inside of the blank before inserting the tube.

What is stabilised wood?

Resin is impregnated into the wood whilst under high vacuum pressure. The blank is then heated to solidify the resin inside.

The process makes the wood stronger. Many hybrid blanks are made from burrs, these by nature include small holes.

The resin will fill some holes, however when turning you may require CA glue to fill other.
